Berlin's Japanese Christmas Market Brings Festive Culture to Malzfabrik

In early December, the Malzfabrik will celebrate all things Japan. Visitors can sample Japanese cuisine, craft traditional toys, and shop for fine handmade goods.

Over the second weekend of Advent, the Malzfabrik in Berlin-Schöneberg invites guests on a mini-getaway to Japan. Across two days, attendees can enjoy a diverse program featuring a market, food, entertainment, and music. Those hunting for unique Christmas gifts will find Japanese products at the stalls—from traditional and contemporary crafts to ceramics, fashion, kimonos, and stationery. The event also offers lively performances, including dance and wrestling displays. For food and drink, Japanese specialties like sushi, sweets, and sake will be served.
