Dubai's Industrial Forum Aims to Double Manufacturing Output by 2033
Dubai is set to host a major industrial forum under the theme Advanced Industry. Emerging Stronger. The event will gather government bodies, leading manufacturers, and small businesses to push forward investment deals and technology partnerships. Organisers aim to highlight Dubai’s growing role as a hub for advanced manufacturing and global trade. The forum will showcase Dubai’s industrial strengths through key initiatives led by the Department of Economy and Tourism (DET). These include the Export Assistance Programme, the Elite Buyer Programme, and Industry 4.0 enablement schemes. Industry-friendly power policies will also be presented to attract further investment.
Major entities like Dubai Industrial City, National Industries Park, and the Dubai Future Foundation will outline the city’s advantages for investors. Food Tech Valley and the Dubai Chambers will join discussions, alongside DIEZ, to promote Dubai’s value proposition for manufacturers. The event is expected to formalise new strategic partnerships with leading logistics and banking firms. These collaborations aim to boost trade efficiency and financial support for businesses. Dubai’s existing trade network already connects companies to over 130 export destinations, supported by economic agreements and simplified customs procedures. The forum follows strong economic performance, with Dubai recording 6.4% GDP growth in the last quarter of 2025. The city’s total GDP for the year reached AED 937 billion. Under the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33), authorities plan to more than double manufacturing output by 2033.
The forum will serve as a platform for securing new investments and reinforcing Dubai’s position in advanced industries. With targeted policies and expanded partnerships, the city aims to accelerate growth in manufacturing and trade. The outcomes will contribute to Dubai’s long-term goal of doubling industrial output within the next decade.
