BAFTA TV Awards 2023: Martin Lewis and Mary Berry honoured ahead of May 10 ceremony

The BAFTA TV Awards will take place on May 10, 2023, with Greg Davies hosting the ceremony. Two major honours have already been announced: Martin Lewis CBE will receive the Television Special Award, while Dame Mary Berry DBE will be presented with the BAFTA Fellowship. Before the main event, stars gathered at the Sky BAFTA TV pre-party. Laura Whitmore attended with her partner, Iain Stirling, showcasing her growing baby bump. The presenter is expecting her second child.

Stephen Graham has earned 11 nominations for his drama Adolescence, which explores themes like online radicalisation and misogyny. Meanwhile, Claudia Winkleman is in the running for Best Entertainment Programme for The Celebrity Traitors.

On the night, Fleur East and Roman Kemp will host live coverage from the red carpet, streaming on BAFTA’s YouTube channel. The awards will recognise outstanding television talent, with special honours for Lewis and Berry. The ceremony will also highlight nominees like Graham and Winkleman, alongside live red-carpet coverage. Winners will be announced during the event on May 10.
