The Khabarovsk-based hockey team Amur has started assembling its lineup for the next Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) regular season following the conclusion of the current campaign. According to the Khabarovsk Krai Today news agency, the club's management has already extended contracts with four players.

Fans can also expect to see forward Alexander Filatyev return to the ice next season after signing a one-year extension. A native of Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Filatyev began his career with the Omskie Yastreby team in the MHL (Minor Hockey League). He joined Amur last summer and recorded 12 points—four goals and eight assists—in 36 games.
