Yekaterinburg Commercializes Easter: Restaurants Offer Festive Dining Beyond Traditional Home Celebrations

Ural Easter Celebrations Expand with Family Events and Festive Menus

This year, residents of the Urals are being encouraged to mark Christ's Resurrection with celebrations outside the home—beyond just purchasing traditional holiday treats for their tables.

The 18/11 restaurant will host a festive lunch with live music, offering guests a menu of duck with apples, roast beef, or kulebyaka (a savory Russian pie). Prices start at 2,900 rubles ($32) per adult and 1,500 rubles ($17) per child.

The Actor's House has also prepared its own Easter program, drawing parallels to the New Year's events at the Tupikova House. Families with children are invited to Easter gatherings, with a suggested charitable donation of 8,000 rubles ($88) per adult and child. The event will feature a traditional musical salon, a performance in the in-house theater, cookie baking, and a tea party.
