Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift shine at Chiefs teammate's Greek wedding
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift recently attended the wedding of Kansas City Chiefs teammate George Karlaftis in Athens, Greece. The event brought together 220 guests, including former and current teammates, for a celebration filled with traditional Greek customs and private festivities. Karlaftis and his wife Kaia Harris first met on their high school track team in West Lafayette, Indiana. Their wedding included traditional Greek Orthodox rituals, such as the exchange of Stefana crowns, rice throwing, and circling the altar three times.
The couple exchanged Chrome Hearts wedding rings during the ceremony. Guests enjoyed an international buffet dinner, while strict privacy measures were enforced—phones were banned throughout the event. Swift and Kelce arrived in Athens via a private jet and stayed on her personal boat near the wedding venue. They joined the newlyweds on the dance floor before continuing their international trip, which had already included a stop in London to watch *Romeo and Juliet*. Earlier this year, the pair also attended the iHeartRadio Music Awards together in March.
The wedding marked a high-profile gathering of Karlaftis’ football circle and close friends. With Swift and Kelce among the attendees, the celebration blended Greek tradition with star-studded moments. The couple’s long-standing connection from high school added a personal touch to the occasion.
