Spring Festival in Alhaurín el Grande Supports Rescued Horses and Donkeys

A.R.C.H. will hold its annual Spring Festival in Alhaurín el Grande on Sunday, May 17. The event offers free entry and promises a day of family-friendly activities while raising funds for rescued horses and donkeys in need of urgent care. Guests can explore an artisan market, enjoy live music, and sample food from a barbecue with vegan options. A mega raffle will run throughout the day, giving attendees the chance to win prizes.

A Fun Dog Show will take centre stage, featuring classes like the Obstacle Race and Temptation Alley. A local dog trainer will also demonstrate obedience and attack training techniques. Visitors can meet rescued horses and donkeys, including two young foals currently receiving medical treatment. Meanwhile, two original artworks—*In the beginning there was trust* by Anna Bondar and *Kite* by Janette Lockett—will be on display at the A.R.C.H. charity shop. The paintings, valued at around €2,000 and €1,500 respectively, are available for bidding.

All proceeds from the festival will support the care of rescued animals. The event combines entertainment, food, and art while helping horses and donkeys in need of medical attention. Entry remains free for all attendees.
