Three live events hosted by Channel Aid in Hamburg, featuring performances by Montez and Garvey
The much-anticipated Channel Aid concert series "Live in Concert" is set to return to Hamburg for three exciting nights in October 2025. Since its inception in 2018, these live concerts have been raising funds for various charitable organisations, and this year promises to be no exception.
The historic Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg will once again play host to these events, providing a perfect blend of tradition and modernity.
The Lineup
The confirmed artists for the series are as follows:
- Rea Garvey will take the stage on October 21, 2025. This will be his first performance with an orchestra in 25 years, accompanied by the 65-piece Lufthansa Orchestra and the 40-piece choir Hamburg Voices.
- Montez, a major star particularly popular with Generation Z, is expected to perform on October 23, 2025, also with orchestral accompaniment.
The artist for the second night, October 22, 2025, remains a surprise, yet to be announced.
Ticket Information
Tickets for the event are expected to go on sale soon, although the exact date has not been specified yet. Potential buyers are advised to keep an eye on official event sites and ticket platforms like Eventim for announcements.
Charitable Contributions
Mastercard has pledged to donate an amount equal to the value of tickets purchased using their credit card. In addition, the profits from the concerts on October 21, 22, and 23 will also be donated to several charitable organisations. The live-streamed concerts will generate advertising revenue for social projects for children and people with disabilities.
Previous Editions
Previous headliners have included Rita Ora, Bastille, Cro, and Wincent Weiss. Well-known YouTube performers who have already gained attention for their music on the video platform typically open for the main acts. It's worth noting that Ayliva's concert, originally scheduled for January, was cancelled.
The concerts will be accompanied by the 65-member Lufthansa Orchestra, adding an extra layer of musical excellence to the event. The 40-member Hamburg Voices choir will also be present, enhancing the performances with their harmonious voices.
