The city of Tomsk was buzzing with excitement on August 9, as the Around Sports festival took place at the prestigious Tomsk Palace of Sports and Culture. The event, held to coincide with Russia's Day of Physical Culture, showcased a wide variety of sports and offered attendees the chance to learn about these activities from Tomsk's top coaches.
The festival featured demonstration performances from over 50 sports schools and active organisations, showcasing everything from chess and boxing to fencing and equestrian sports. For those eager to delve deeper, masterclasses were available for the most curious attendees.
In a unique twist, radio holding "Daĭdjėst FM" and the festival partnered to give away a chance to participate in a live radio broadcast. The winner of this exciting opportunity will soon be heard by the entire city.
Participants at the festival also had the chance to win prizes from sponsors, including travel certificates, airline tickets, smart speakers, bicycles, scooters, and skateboards. The favourable weather added to the festive atmosphere, making for a memorable day.
