Soldiers Rush to Save Zhanaozen as Heavy Floods Strike

In the city of Zhanaozen, servicemen from Military Unit 5548 of the Batys Regional Command of Kazakhstan's National Guard under the Ministry of Internal Affairs have assisted residents in mitigating the aftermath of flooding caused by heavy rainfall, Liter.kz reports.

Over 50 conscript soldiers and three pieces of equipment were deployed for the operation. The guardsmen swiftly joined efforts to address the consequences of the severe weather. Work was carried out across 25 affected areas where water had accumulated, with troops focusing on pumping out floodwater and constructing protective embankments.

Through coordinated and professional action, the situation was stabilized, ensuring the safety of local residents and providing essential aid to those affected.

Residents of Zhanaozen expressed heartfelt gratitude to the servicemen for their prompt response, courage, and dedication.

It is worth noting that the National Guard actively participates in emergency response efforts, offering critical support to citizens in their most challenging moments.
