SNL U.K. wraps debut season with star-studded final episodes
The first season of Saturday Night Live U.K. is nearing its finale with two episodes remaining. The show, produced by Lorne Michaels, has expanded its run from six to eight episodes. James Longman will lead production as the series continues its debut season.
On 9 May 2023, Hannah Waddingham will take the stage as host, with Myles Smith performing as the musical guest. The following week, on 16 May, Ncuti Gatwa will host, accompanied by Holly Humberstone as the featured musician.
An upcoming episode, with no confirmed date, will see Aimee Lou Wood as host. Meek has also been announced as the musical guest for that show. The series, adapted from the long-running U.S. version, has extended its initial six-episode order by two. Lorne Michaels remains at the helm as executive producer, while Longman oversees the production team.
The final two episodes will wrap up the first season of Saturday Night Live U.K. Each show will feature a new host and musical act, closing out the extended eight-episode run. No further details on future seasons have been announced.
