Russian football match canceled after Dynamo-Vladivostok fails to appear

The LEON Second League Division A (12+) Round 11 match between PFC Kuban and FC Dynamo-Vladivostok was called off on May 2, 2025. The cancellation followed Dynamo-Vladivostok’s failure to appear at the scheduled 1:00 PM kick-off. Officials will now review the incident before deciding on further action. The Russian Football National League’s press service confirmed the match’s cancellation. According to league rules, a referee must declare a game void if a team does not show up. The referee and match delegate followed standard procedures to record Dynamo-Vladivostok’s absence on the day of the fixture.

The Control and Disciplinary Committee (CDC) will examine the case before issuing a ruling. This comes after Dynamo-Vladivostok had already played in the division’s 'silver' group opener, drawing 1–1 with Amkar-Perm. League regulations state that a team’s no-show must be formally documented by officials before any penalties are applied. The CDC’s decision will determine the outcome of the canceled match.

The cancellation leaves PFC Kuban without a result for Round 11. The CDC’s verdict will clarify whether the match is rescheduled, awarded to Kuban, or handled differently. Dynamo-Vladivostok’s next steps will depend on the committee’s findings.
