Parkin Secures Five-Year Deal to Manage Dubai's Top Retail Parking Hubs

Parkin Company PJSC has secured a five-year agreement with Al Futtaim Group to manage parking across key retail sites in Dubai. The deal covers enforcement, customer service, and smart technology integration. Both companies aim to improve parking efficiency and accessibility at major shopping destinations. Under the new framework, Parkin will oversee parking operations at Dubai Festival City Mall, Festival Plaza, and Arabian Center. This includes issuing and validating fines, handling customer feedback, and resolving disputes. The company will also use operational data to refine the parking experience for visitors.

A key focus of the agreement is managing 107 People of Determination (POD) parking spaces across the three locations. Parkin will ensure compliance with accessibility standards while enforcing regulations. License Plate Recognition (LPR) technology will be deployed for real-time vehicle monitoring, with Parkin responsible for installing, operating, and maintaining the system.

Hayssam Hajjar, Executive Director of Asset Management at Al Futtaim, highlighted the partnership’s role in enhancing parking services at their retail destinations. Meanwhile, Eng. Abdelrahman Alshuweihi, Parkin’s Director of Operations, described the collaboration as a blend of retail expertise and advanced enforcement capabilities. The deal also strengthens Parkin’s position in Dubai’s private sector, expanding its managed parking portfolio. The five-year agreement reinforces Parkin’s commitment to smart mobility in Dubai. By integrating LPR technology and prioritising accessibility, the company will streamline parking management at some of the city’s busiest retail hubs. The partnership is set to improve both enforcement and customer satisfaction in the coming years.
