Omsk launches major road repairs on Mira Prospect this May

Repairs on Mira Prospect in Omsk are set to continue this month as part of a wider road maintenance push. Over 150 streets across the city will see work in May, with crews already addressing urgent issues on the busy route in April. In April, emergency repairs were carried out on parts of Mira Prospect. The work focused on the stretch between SibADI and the Kristall shopping centre, as well as the section from Neftezavodskaya Street to Dokovskaya Street.

A transportation unit from UDKhB will now begin full-width resurfacing of the same road this month. The precise location and schedule for this next phase have not yet been confirmed. If the weather stays favourable, the entire project is expected to finish by the end of May. The ongoing work aims to improve road conditions on one of Omsk’s key routes. With 150 streets slated for repair citywide, authorities are pushing to complete the upgrades before summer. Final timings will depend on weather and operational progress.
