The image shows a large group of pipes sitting on top of a building, surrounded by machines, railings, vehicles on the road, people, buildings, trees, poles, hills and a clear blue sky. This scene is likely related to the recent news that Mexico's oil and gas industry has been shut down due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Nizhny Novgorod prepares for hot water shutdowns—check your schedule now

Hot water shutdowns are approaching in Nizhny Novgorod, with schedules now available online. Residents can check exact dates by entering their address on their provider’s website. Different companies manage services across the city’s districts.

OKO handles water supply for 53% of the city’s consumers. This excludes Avtozavodsky, parts of Leninsky, and Nizhegorodsky districts. Those living in areas not listed in OKO’s system are likely served by another provider.

For residents in Prioksky, Sovetsky, and Kanavinsky districts, STN-Energoseti oversees the shutdowns. Meanwhile, VolgaEnergoSbyt manages Avtozavodsky and Leninsky districts. Each company’s website provides detailed schedules based on street and building number. Shutdown dates may shift if repairs or maintenance on boiler stations and heating networks take longer than planned. Residents are advised to monitor updates from their specific provider for the latest information.

The shutdowns will affect thousands of households across Nizhny Novgorod. Official websites remain the best source for accurate dates and potential changes. Residents should verify their provider and check updates regularly.
