Mininsky University launches 20M ruble youth empowerment initiative in 2026

Mininsky University in Nizhny Novgorod has secured a 20 million ruble grant to build a youth support ecosystem. The two-year programme will launch in 2026 and aims to empower 10,000 young people across the region. Officials describe it as a long-term investment in education, digital skills, and traditional values. The initiative, funded by Rosmolodezh, will roll out 15 projects over two years. Nine major events are planned for 2026, including the Family Environment educational marathon and the Time of the Hero patriotic rally. A further six initiatives, such as the Navigator of Family Traditions convention and the International Friendship Clubs Festival, will follow in 2027.

The ecosystem aligns with Russia’s federal youth policy and supports national projects like Youth and Children and Family. Viktor Sdobnyakov, rector of Mininsky University, confirmed that the grant will fund a permanent youth centre in the region. Successful strategies developed under the programme will also be shared on the National Image of the Family platform for adoption in other areas. The project will create a lasting infrastructure for young people in Nizhny Novgorod. By combining modern engagement techniques with traditional values, it seeks to train a new generation of educators. The first activities are scheduled to begin in 2026.
