Molina and Pujols to Join Cardinals Hall of Fame in Historic Double Induction

Two St. Louis Cardinals legends will enter the team’s Hall of Fame together this year. Yadier Molina and Albert Pujols were both chosen by fans, marking the first time two players have been inducted in the same year through this process. Their ceremony will take place at Busch Stadium on September 12th, with nearly 50,000 supporters expected to attend. Albert Pujols spent 11 seasons with the Cardinals, leaving a lasting impact. During his time in St. Louis, he hit 469 home runs and recorded 1,397 RBIs. His career slash line with the team stood at an impressive .326/.417/.614. Alongside Molina, he helped lead the Cardinals to two World Series titles in 2006 and 2011.

Yadier Molina played 19 seasons for the club, earning 10 All-Star selections. Known for his defensive brilliance, he won nine Gold Glove awards. Like Pujols, he was a key figure in both championship-winning teams. The pair’s induction follows a fan vote, reflecting their enduring popularity. Their achievements on the field and contributions to the franchise have cemented their places in Cardinals history.

The September 12th ceremony will honour both players in front of a packed crowd. Molina and Pujols will become the first duo inducted together through fan voting. Their legacy as two-time World Series winners and franchise icons remains a highlight of Cardinals history.
