Meliá Ho Tram Beach Resort unveils bold luxury expansion in Vietnam
Meliá Ho Tram Beach Resort in southern Vietnam is undergoing a major expansion. The project will transform the site from a traditional beachfront resort into a full-service destination with new luxury amenities and facilities. The development will add 191 new hotel suites and rooms, increasing accommodation options. Five new swimming pools, covering 2,500 square metres, will be introduced, including a signature rooftop pool. Among the upgrades is The Indochine Residences, a collection of serviced, hotel-managed properties for guests seeking extended stays.
Wellness offerings are also expanding, with plans for an onsen experience and dedicated wellness packages. Families will benefit from an upgraded Kids Club and new recreational spaces designed for younger visitors. The resort’s dining and fitness facilities will likewise see significant enhancements. The project aligns with Ho Tram’s growing reputation as an international destination, supported by recent infrastructure improvements. Construction is expected to create over 1,000 temporary jobs, with around 500 permanent roles once the expansion is complete.
Once finished, the expansion will reinforce Meliá Ho Tram’s position as one of Vietnam’s top upscale coastal resorts. The new facilities, from luxury residences to wellness-focused services, aim to attract a broader range of visitors while boosting local employment and tourism.
