Maybank and Muslim Pro Launch Amanah Pro for Hajj Savings in Indonesia
Maybank Indonesia and Muslim Pro have teamed up to launch Amanah Pro, a new Islamic Banking-as-a-Service (iBaaS) platform. The service aims to help users in Indonesia prepare financially for Hajj and Umrah pilgrimages. It combines digital convenience with Sharia-compliant banking solutions. The platform allows Muslim Pro users to access Islamic banking services directly through the app. No visits to a physical branch are required. This integration is made possible by Banking-as-a-Service technology from Audax, which enables non-bank platforms to offer embedded banking features.
Amanah Pro operates under strict regulatory oversight from Bank Indonesia and the Financial Services Authority (OJK). This ensures compliance with both financial and Sharia principles. The service expands Muslim Pro’s offerings, which currently serve around 190 million users worldwide. Steffano Ridwan, President Director at Maybank Indonesia, highlighted the importance of blending digital innovation with Sharia values. Nafees Khundker, Group Managing Director and CEO of Muslim Pro, added that the partnership removes financial obstacles. It also provides a seamless, Sharia-compliant way for users to plan their pilgrimage finances.
Amanah Pro is now available to Muslim Pro users in Indonesia. The platform offers a fully digital, Sharia-compliant banking experience for pilgrimage savings. Regulatory approval and technological support ensure its reliability for financial planning.
