Man arrested after knife threat and jersey theft at Orioles Team Shop

A 49-year-old man faces armed robbery charges after an incident at the Baltimore Orioles Team Shop. Police arrested him near Camden Yards following reports of a theft and a knife threat.

The incident began just before 10 a.m. at Oriole Park. The man took two sports jerseys from the store wall and tried to leave. An employee confronted him, but he allegedly pulled out a knife and ran away.

Police quickly responded to the scene. They arrested the suspect without incident in the 200 block of North Eutaw Street. He now faces charges of armed robbery along with multiple weapons offences.

The man remains in custody after the confrontation at the team shop. Authorities will proceed with formal charges related to the theft and the use of a weapon. The investigation into the incident continues.
