Magadan's Young Singers Honor WWII Victory in Historic Choir Festival

Top preschool ensembles from the regional capital are preparing for a musical showdown. On Thursday, April 30, at 4:30 p.m., the Magadan Regional Puppet Theater will host the city's first-ever "Battle of the Choirs" festival (6+).

Dedicated to celebrating Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945, the event aims to foster patriotism and civic engagement among young children by drawing on the values of historical and spiritual heritage.

The festival will feature choral groups of children aged 4 to 7 from ten preschools, selected through preliminary auditions and judged by a professional panel. The choirs from Preschools No. 1, 3, 7, 15, 33, 44, 57, 60, 61, and 69 will perform military-patriotic songs.

Proceeds from ticket sales will go toward humanitarian aid for participants in the special military operation.
