Pella dominates West Delaware Boys Golf invite with team victory

A fierce battle on the greens saw Pella rise above nine rival schools. Blake Mather's 74 nearly stole the show—here's how the tournament unfolded.

Pella dominates West Delaware Boys Golf invite with team victory

The West Delaware Boys Golf team hosted their annual invite on Friday afternoon at Pin Oak. Nine other schools participated with Pella taking first place with a 315, the Hawks were 4th with a 324, Independence 6th with a 331. Individually, Blake Mather was runner-up with a 74, 3rd was Colson Mersch with a 76. Independence 's Dawson Fuelling and Blayne Mergen were 7th and 8th with a 78 and 79 respectively.
