Komi Republic sees surge in healthcare feedback as residents voice concerns and praise
According to the minister, the most significant factors affecting performance evaluations included the comfort of conditions in medical facilities, wait times outside doctors' offices, and other considerations.
"Over the past several years, the number of public inquiries we have received has run into the tens of thousands. These include not only formal written complaints submitted under Federal Law No. 59-FZ but also other forms of feedback, particularly through our online feedback platform. In total, we processed nearly 40,000 inquiries in 2025. Half of them concerned appointment scheduling and the organization of medical care.
Additionally, last year we received expressions of gratitude for several healthcare institutions: Syktyvkar City Polyclinic No. 3, Ukhta Children's City Hospital No. 1, the Territorial Disaster Medicine Center, the Clinical Cardiology Dispensary, Yezhva City Hospital, and the Republican Clinical Hospital. It is essential to highlight such recognition during team meetings—it strengthens morale and motivates further improvement," noted Irina Kondratyeva.
In 2025, residents of the Komi Republic submitted a total of 20,179 inquiries (4,830 in writing and 15,349 verbally). For comparison, there were 19,352 in 2024. Meanwhile, the online feedback platform received 17,316 inquiries, up from 16,081 the previous year.
