Kazakhstan's Hockey Team Secures Historic Promotion to IIHF Elite

Kazakhstan’s National Hockey Team has earned promotion to the top division of the IIHF World Championship. The achievement came after a strong performance in the qualifying rounds, securing their place among the elite. The team confirmed their early promotion with 11 points from just four games. Their decisive moment arrived in a tense match against Ukraine, which ended in a 4–4 draw. Kazakhstan ultimately won in a shootout, locking in their advancement.
