Gelendzhik gears up for a record summer with new beaches and tours

Gelendzhik is preparing for a busy summer season, with tourist numbers already rising. Since the start of the year, over 410,000 visitors have arrived in the popular Black Sea resort. Local authorities have been working to upgrade facilities and expand services for guests. The city now offers more than 30 excursion routes and 37 tourist trails for visitors. To support these activities, 38 certified tour guides are available to assist travellers. Meanwhile, infrastructure improvements have continued, with two new terrainkurzes—Markotkh and Zemlyanki—constructed under a regional state programme.

Beach preparations are well underway. All 24 beaches in the Kabardinsky district are fully ready for guests. Across Gelendzhik, 73 beaches have passed water-labor inspections and had their infrastructure installed for the season. In the Divnomorskoye district, around 80% of facilities are now prepared for summer visitors. For those interested in local culture and cuisine, Gelendzhik provides 54 tourist facilities, including options for enogastronomic tourism. The variety of attractions and services aims to cater to different traveller preferences.

With upgraded beaches, new recreational areas, and a wide range of guided tours, Gelendzhik is set to welcome more tourists in the coming months. The city’s ongoing development reflects its growing reputation as a key destination on the Black Sea coast.
