Falkenring and Amselring to undergo phased road resurfacing soon

Major resurfacing work is set to begin on two streets in the area, with Falkenring and Amselring undergoing repairs. The project aims to minimise disruption by keeping parts of the roads open while work progresses. Residents will receive advance notice with schedules and contact details before operations start. The construction company will start with small preparatory tasks, focusing on gutters and street drains. Once complete, the existing road surface will be milled down by roughly four centimetres.

Falkenring will be resurfaced in two separate sections to ensure at least one side remains accessible. The work will then move to Amselring, covering the western stretch from the junction with Fasanenstraße to just east of Finkenweg. These three sections will be handled one after another. A new asphalt layer will be laid after the milling process. However, lanes will need to be fully closed for about one to two days at a time during the installation and curing of the new surface. While most areas will remain open, access may be restricted near active machinery during preparatory and milling phases. The timeline depends on weather conditions, meaning delays could occur if adverse conditions arise.

Residents will still be able to use parts of the roads outside active work zones. The construction company will provide detailed updates, including schedules and contact information, about a week before work begins. The phased approach is designed to keep disruption to a minimum while ensuring the roads are properly renewed.
