Bruno Mars kicks off Rogers Stadium's summer with 50,000 fans expected

Rogers Stadium is preparing for its first major concert of the year with Bruno Mars performing this Saturday. Around 50,000 fans are expected to attend, marking a busy start to the venue’s expanded summer schedule. The stadium has made changes to improve crowd flow, washroom access, and noise control after past complaints. This year, it will host 20 concerts, up from 14 in 2023.

Fans have several transport options for the event. A free shuttle runs from Wilson Station to Gate 3, while the nearest TTC stops—Downsview Park and Sheppard West—are both about 900 metres away. Drop-off points include 81 YZD Lane and 590 Wilson Ave.

Parking is available at 400 William R. Allen Road, though attendees must pre-purchase passes and face a moderate walk. An additional unpaved lot on the east side of Sheppard Avenue West and Tuscan Gate offers more spaces.

Weather forecasts predict showers and temperatures near 10°C during the concert. The event kicks off a packed season at Rogers Stadium. With updated crowd management measures in place, organisers aim to ensure a smoother experience for concertgoers. Fans are advised to plan travel in advance due to weather and parking constraints.
