Apple TV Unveils Five Bold New Series for Late May Debuts

Apple TV has unveiled a fresh lineup of original series for late May. The streaming platform will introduce four new shows, each spanning different genres—from sci-fi thrillers to gripping crime dramas.

The premieres kick off with Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed on May 20, followed by Monarch: Legacy of Monsters Season 2, Imperfect Women, Star City, and Propeller One-Way Night Coach on May 29. Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed stars Tatiana Maslany as Paula, a recently divorced mother caught in a custody battle. While navigating an identity crisis, she stumbles into a criminal investigation that turns her life upside down. The series blends personal drama with suspense as she uncovers hidden truths.

Monarch: Legacy of Monsters Season 2 returns with the secretive organisation Monarch facing its greatest threat yet. A looming titan event puts the group—and the world—on the edge of catastrophe. The season promises high stakes as characters race to prevent disaster.

Imperfect Women dives into the lives of three long-time friends whose bond is shattered by a violent crime. The thriller explores guilt, betrayal, and the choices that reshape their futures. Decades of friendship unravel as secrets come to light, forcing each woman to confront her past.

Star City takes inspiration from For All Mankind, shifting focus to the Soviet space programme. Set against the Cold War era, the series follows cosmonauts, engineers, and intelligence officers as they navigate ambition, danger, and political intrigue. The show offers a behind-the-scenes look at the high-pressure world of early space exploration.

Propeller One-Way Night Coach centres on a single, fateful cross-country flight. Passengers board a one-way journey that quickly spirals into unexpected chaos. The series unfolds over the course of one night, blending mystery with psychological tension as hidden motives emerge. All four series will be available exclusively on Apple TV. Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed arrives first on May 20, while the remaining three debut on May 29. Viewers can expect a mix of crime, sci-fi, and drama as the platform expands its original programming.
