Alexander Zyryanov claims JCK welterweight title with a third-round TKO

Alexander Zyryanov, a fighter from Omsk representing the Storm school under Alexander Shlemenko, has claimed the championship title in China's JCK promotion, earning both the belt and a prize of one million yuan.

Reports indicate that Zyryanov has been competing in JCK since 2024. With five fights under his belt—all won by early stoppage—he secured his shot at the title.

In the main event of last night's card on March 28, the STORM Shlemenko Fight Team athlete faced off against reigning JCK champion Kurbanjiang Tulusibaka in a welterweight bout. Zyryanov emerged victorious by technical knockout in the third round.

"Today, my student Alexander Zyryanov won the JCK championship—the largest organization in China and one of the biggest in the world!" said Alexander Shlemenko, founder of the Storm school and a veteran fighter himself. "He's had six fights in China, and every single one ended early! That's how the system works. I'm incredibly proud. My thanks to everyone who has supported us. Congratulations to all—Alexander Zyryanov is the JCK champion! Storm is the champion!"

Zyryanov, in turn, expressed his gratitude to the school and his mentor personally.

"Thanks to Alexander Pavlovich Shlemenko, Omsk is raising some of the strongest fighters out there! And it's only because of him that I'm champion today," Zyryanov declared.

In February, Zyryanov was named "Most Promising Athlete of 2025" in a fan vote organized annually by JCK.

A product of the Storm school since its opening in 2015—when he was just 14—Zyryanov has claimed multiple Grand Prix victories in Omsk, made a successful professional debut in the SFC league, and has since built his career in China.
