Yakutia restores power after storm damages key transmission line

Power engineers from the Maiinsky Regional Electric Networks—a branch of Yakutskenergo PJSC (part of the RusHydro Group)—have completed repairs on the 35 kV overhead transmission line "Nizhny Bestyakh–Khaptygay," which was knocked out on March 31, 2026, by strong gusts of wind.

Following the restoration work, the line has been brought back online. Power supply to consumers in the Megino-Kangalassky and Khangalassky districts has been fully restored, with no remaining outages.
