Vladivostok bus stops hit by third vandalism attack in a week

Three bus stop vandalism incidents have occurred in the past week alone. This time, vandals targeted a stop near the Fan Factory complex, a local resident told PrimaMedia.

"A bus stop at the Fan Factory was trashed—shattered glass everywhere, which is extremely dangerous," the resident wrote.

This latest attack follows a string of similar incidents. Earlier, stops on Burachok Street and Nekrasovskaya Street were also damaged by unknown perpetrators. Police have already taken notice of the previous cases: law enforcement officers are investigating the circumstances of the latest vandalism at a public transport stop in Primorsky District.

"All details of the incident and the identities of those involved are being established. A lawful and justified decision will be made based on the findings of the investigation," the Primorsky Territory branch of Russia's Interior Ministry stated in a press release.

PrimaMedia previously reported that a new bus bay would be constructed at the Russkaya stop in Vladivostok. Road crews have already removed the curb and part of the pavement to prepare for the project.
