Uttarakhand trains 700 rafting guides in landmark safety programme

उत्तराखंड: सीएम पुष्कर सिंह धामी के सख्त निर्देश, जमीन विवादों के निपटारे के लिए एक महीने का विशेष अभियान शुरू Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami has taken strict instructions for resolving land disputes in the state. The Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board (UTDB) has started a special medical training programme for river rafting guides in the state. This programme has been started with the help of HANIFL Seaters. The aim of this programme is to provide medical training to river rafting guides so that they can handle emergency situations. The programme will run from January 10 to February 2026. Over 700 river rafting guides from across the state will be trained in this programme. The programme has been designed by HANIFL Seaters in association with international experts. The certificate of this programme will be recognised globally. This is the first time in Uttarakhand that such a big programme has been started for the training of river rafting guides. The programme will not only provide medical training but also training on safety and rescue operations. The programme will be conducted in Hindi and English both. The trainees will be given a certificate after completing the programme.
