Univision's Guardián de Mi Vida Premieres May 18 with a Twist on Classic Romance
EXCLUSIVE: Univision has set the premiere date for Guardián de Mi Vida for Monday, May 18 at 9 p.m. ET.
The primetime telenovela produced by Juan Osorio stars Silvia Navarro, Daniel Arenas, Paulina Goto, and Diego Klein, and is a new adaptation of Amores Verdaderos (2012), which, in turn, is based on the 2005 Argentinian series Amor en Custodia, created by Marcela Citterio.
Guardián de Mi Vida also stars Sergio Sendel, Kimberly Dos Ramos, Roberta Damian, Alejandro Camacho, Tiago Correa, Rodolfo Salas, among many others.
Guardián de Mi Vida follows the life of Sofía Peralta-Avitia Villaseñor (Navarro), a successful businesswoman and great mother, but who feels lonely in her marriage to Gonzalo Balmori-Ricci Nava (Sendel). At the same time, her daughter, Bárbara Balmori-Ricci Peralta-Avitia (Goto), and her young bodyguard, Salvador "Chava" Reyes Encino (Klein), will transform their rebelliousness into passion. What none of these characters know is that the evil, ambitious people around them will try to meddle in their paths on their road to love.
