Explore, Experience, Collect: The UNESCO Rhön Biosphere Reserve Launches "#rhönguided" Stamp Booklet Under the Motto "Hike – Experience – Collect"

UNESCO's Rhön Biosphere Reserve Launches Interactive Stamp Adventure

On April 5, the UNESCO Rhön Biosphere Reserve officially kicks off its new cross-state stamp booklet initiative, inviting visitors and locals alike to discover the Rhön in all its diversity—while collecting step-by-step memories along the way.

The concept is simple: Participate in guided tours, lectures, hikes, or museum visits, gather stamps, and at the end, trade in your completed booklet for a small keepsake.

How the Stamp Booklet Works

1. Choose an Activity Browse the UNESCO Rhön Biosphere Reserve's website to find a qualifying event—only designated activities count toward the stamp challenge.

2. Experience the Biosphere Whether it's a ranger-led tour, a guided hike, or a museum visit, participants explore the Rhön firsthand, immersing themselves in the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve's natural and cultural treasures.

3. Collect Your Stamp At the end of each event, a stamp in your booklet confirms your participation.

4. Gather More Experiences To complete the booklet, collect the following minimum stamps in each colored section: - Green section: 6 stamps - Orange section: 2 stamps - Blue section: 2 stamps

5. Claim Your Souvenir Once all required stamps are collected, redeem your booklet for a small memento by November 15, 2028, at one of these locations: - House of the Long Rhön (Haus der Langen Rhön) - House of the Black Mountains (Haus der Schwarzen Berge) - Biosphere Info Center at Zella Abbey (Propstei Zella)

For more details on participating events and offers, visit www.biosphaerenreservat-rhoen.de/stempelheft starting April 5.
