Stripe's Azure Event Grid integration unlocks real-time payment workflows

Stripe’s integration with Azure Event Grid is now fully available. The new feature allows businesses to route payment and subscription events directly into Azure’s cloud services. This enables real-time workflows, analytics, and system integrations without managing extra infrastructure. Stripe generates events for activities like payments, refunds, disputes, and customer updates. These events now flow into Azure Event Grid, which formats them using the CloudEvents schema. Failed deliveries are automatically retried to ensure reliability.

To use the integration, teams first configure the Azure Event Grid destination in Stripe. Next, they set up an event subscription and handler within Azure. Stripe provides detailed documentation to guide users through the setup process. Once connected, events can trigger automated workflows in Azure or feed into Microsoft Fabric Real-Time Intelligence. This allows businesses to monitor transactions, analyse trends, and respond to changes instantly. The system removes the need for custom webhook management, simplifying event-driven architectures.

The new Stripe-Azure Event Grid integration is now live for all users. It offers a direct way to process payment events in real time across Azure services. Companies can now build scalable systems with fewer manual steps and greater visibility into financial activities.
