Seattle's Concert Truck rolls out free summer chamber music across parks

The Concert Truck is bringing free live music to parks and public spaces across the Seattle area this summer. From June 18 to July 6, the mobile venue will turn everyday locations into intimate performance spots for families, newcomers, and music fans.

The tour kicks off on Thursday, June 18 at the Tukwila Community Center. A week later, on June 25, another performance will take place at the Burien Farmers Market. Both events are free and designed to welcome all listeners.

Additional stops are planned in Bellevue, Federal Way, Columbia City, Renton, and various Seattle parks. Local musicians from the Seattle Chamber Music Society will join Concert Truck founder Susan Zhang for the residency. Each show lasts about an hour, featuring chamber music in a relaxed setting. Times and locations may shift, so attendees are advised to check for updates before heading out.

The Summer Festival 2026 residency runs until July 6. By bringing performances to public spaces, the project aims to make classical music more accessible. Free events in Burien, Tukwila, and beyond will offer a chance to experience live music without barriers.
