Sangfor's 2026 Forum Unveils Unified Cloud Platform for AI and Legacy Migration

Sangfor Technologies recently held its Executive Forum 2026 in Bangkok. The event focused on modernising IT infrastructure and reducing dependence on outdated virtualisation systems.

The company also showcased its integrated cloud platform, designed to simplify transitions from legacy environments while embedding cybersecurity into a single architecture. The forum brought together discussions on key IT challenges, including infrastructure resilience, cloud-native applications, and Zero Trust security. AI-powered operations and the need for VMware alternatives were also highlighted, given recent shifts in licensing costs.

Sangfor’s platform combines computing, storage, networking, and security into one unified system. It supports virtual machines, containers, and AI workloads while offering streamlined storage management. Keith Lee, Cloud Business Director at Sangfor, emphasised that businesses require infrastructure integrating cloud, security, AI readiness, and cost-effective licensing in one solution.

The company is expanding its presence across Southeast Asia, with Thailand marked as one of its fastest-growing markets. Upcoming forums will extend to Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Europe, Indonesia, and Hong Kong. Sangfor’s Executive Forum 2026 underscored the demand for AI-ready infrastructure and efficient migration from legacy systems. The company’s unified platform aims to address these needs while reinforcing its growth in key regional markets. Further events will continue the discussion in multiple countries over the coming months.
