Rosselkhozbank hits 25-year profit high with record 2025 financial growth

Rosselkhozbank (RSHB) saw its net operating income surge by 31.2% in 2025, reaching 184.2 billion rubles ($2.1 billion), Chairman of the Board Boris Listov announced during an expanded meeting with regional branch heads. The bank's press service confirmed the figures to Expert magazine.

Listov emphasized that this marks the highest result in the financial institution's 25-year history.

"We achieved growth across key business metrics, particularly in the corporate segment, while also boosting transaction-based revenue," he said. "Today, we are effectively the market leader in credit portfolio quality. Our non-performing loan ratio stands at just 1.8%, compared to the industry average of 3.5%."

According to Listov, the bank's short-term corporate loan portfolio expanded by 6% in 2025, while lending to small and microbusinesses grew by 15%.

RSHB Factoring posted a net profit of 4 billion rubles under IFRS last year—double its 2024 performance. RSHB Leasing nearly doubled its active leasing contracts and tripled its net profit to 1.8 billion rubles, up from 2024. Meanwhile, RSHB Insurance and RSHB Life Insurance combined for 3.4 billion rubles in net profit, a 42% increase over the previous year.

During a February 16 meeting with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, Listov reported that over its 25-year history, RSHB has channeled more than 19 trillion rubles into the agribusiness sector, funding nearly 6,000 investment projects. He noted that the scale of these investments represents not just support for existing enterprises but a systemic transformation of production structures.
