Novorossiysk's New Park Home Blends Art, History and Family Fun
A new family-friendly park has opened near Semigorsky Khutor in Novorossiysk, blending art, therapy, and history. The Park Home agritourism complex received funding to transform the area into a landscape art therapy space, while preserving its cultural roots. Visitors can now explore updated trails, relaxation spots, and play areas close to the historic Luchazarny sanatorium. The park sits beside the Luchazarny sanatorium, a site that operated from 1913 until the Great Patriotic War. Developers kept the original walking paths intact, ensuring modern upgrades—like new trails, benches, and gazebos—honour the area’s heritage. Sun loungers, swings, and clear signage have also been added for comfort and accessibility.
Funding for the project came through the *Tourism and Hospitality* national initiative, which supports new camping and glamping sites. Krasnodar Region now hosts around 100 such locations, accommodating over 5,000 guests at a time. In summer 2025 alone, about 37,000 people chose camping holidays, with 60,000 staying at campgrounds across the year. Road trips remain a favoured way to explore the region. Travellers can find detailed route guides on *Travel Russia* and *KurortKuban.ru*, helping them plan visits to the park and other local attractions.
The Park Home complex now offers a mix of relaxation, history, and outdoor activities. Its opening aligns with growing interest in camping and self-guided travel in Krasnodar Region. The project’s subsidies and careful design aim to attract more visitors while preserving the area’s past.
