Nizhny Novgorod's Young Engineers Showcase 326 Innovative Projects
The "Young Creators for Our Beloved City" children's technical creativity exhibition will take place in Nizhny Novgorod from March 30 to April 5 (0+). The event marks the city's 805th anniversary, according to the municipal Department of Education.
The exhibition will showcase over 326 top technical projects, selected from 1,904 entries submitted during the district-level competition. Nearly 10,000 schoolchildren—from first to eleventh grade—participated in the initiative, along with students from the "Rovesnik" Extracurricular Center in the Zavolzhye district.
The display features ten themed sections, including sports and technical models, machine tools and devices, vehicle and machinery models, radio electronics, robotics, architecture and design, 3D objects, wooden toys, and more. A highlight will be aviation, ship, and automobile models, as well as architecture and design projects.
As part of the event, the "Step into the Future" academic-practical conference will be held, where students will present over 147 engineering and research projects across 10 sections. University professors from Nizhny Novgorod will oversee the sessions.
The exhibition will be open daily from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with free admission. Winners and prize recipients will be chosen based on project presentations at the conference, and all participants will receive certificates.
The event is organized by the Nizhny Novgorod Department of Education, the Chkalov Palace of Young Pioneers, and Nizhny Novgorod Technical University. It will be held at the "Vega" Educational Center (Gagarin Avenue 35, Switzerland Park).
