On Sunday, April 26, 2026, he will take the stage twice at St. Nicholas' Church (Hauptkirche Sankt Nikolai) in Kaltennordheim, with performances at 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM (doors open 30 minutes prior to each show). Tickets are now on sale.
Tickets are available in person at Mode Büchner (Kaltennordheim) and Weigand Post (Kaltensundheim), as well as online.
In every performance, Wieditz ignites a dazzling musical fireworks display, spanning genres from pop and rock to classical, iconic film scores, and beloved musical tunes—all delivered with witty, engaging commentary.
Renowned for his extraordinary ability to hear and process multiple melodies simultaneously, Wieditz brings even unfamiliar tunes to life on the spot, effortlessly interpreting and improvising audience requests on the church organ with virtuoso skill.
A signature of his concerts: He begins with classical pieces, only to playfully subvert them, drawing the audience into his modern, electrifying style.
His repertoire ranges from the Beatles and the Rolling Stones to Herbert Grönemeyer and Led Zeppelin, and even includes Eternity, a tribute to the Pet Shop Boys.
Audiences can expect a thrilling musical journey brimming with genre diversity and charm. Even in a rendition of Depeche Mode's Stripped, Wieditz infuses the performance with a touch of Ostalgie—a nostalgic nod to East German culture.
With his technical expertise, he transforms the church into a pulsating concert hall, inspiring the crowd to sing, clap, and dance along as the amplified organ shakes the very walls.
