MVP's bold MMA reality show aims to rival UFC's The Ultimate Fighter

The organization is developing a reality show that could rival the UFC's legendary The Ultimate Fighter format. According to renowned manager Shu Hirata, MVP has poached a former TUF staffer to create its own MMA reality competition. The Japanese insider shared the news on social media.

Participants: Men from lightweight to light heavyweight, women from atomweight to featherweight, aged 18 and up. The broadcast is expected to air on a major streaming platform.

MVP representatives have repeatedly stated that the MMA market is ripe for change. Launching a reality show could be the promotion's attempt to cultivate new stars from the ground up—a strategy that goes beyond hosting one-off events. That said, MVP has yet to officially confirm the plans.
