In Balashikha, just outside Moscow, the top of a tree snapped off in strong winds and crashed onto a parked car. A bystander managed to film the incident, with footage later shared by the Telegram channel Moscow M125.

Judging by the video, the witness recorded the scene from the window of a residential building. The clip, posted online, shows pine treetops swaying violently in the gusts before one suddenly breaks and falls onto a vehicle in the parking lot below.

Earlier, the Krasnodar TV channel reported that a tree had collapsed onto a 51-year-old woman on Zamorenova Street in central Moscow. According to the outlet, the incident left a woman identified only as Sofia K. injured.

This follows reports that severe weather had caused significant damage across Moscow and the surrounding region. High winds and heavy rainfall brought down roughly 1,200 trees, damaged 475 vehicles, and left seven people injured.
