Knicks crush Hawks 126-97 in Game 5 behind Brunson's 39-point explosion

The New York Knicks flexed their muscle at Madison Square Garden and recorded a blowout 126-97 win in Game 5 to take a 3-2 lead in the first-round series against the Atlanta Hawks. The Garden was packed with global superstars, with Timothee Chalamet, Kylie Jenner and Ben Stiller among several renowned personalities sitting courtside.

During one moment in the game, Karl-Anthony Towns forced Chalamet and Stiller to get out of their seat in excitement. The moment occurred in the first quarter, when Towns scored on a fantastic spin move against Jonathan Kuminga and finished through contact, then mocked the Hawks forward by pointing straight at him.

The crowd erupted, and so did Chalamet and Stiller. Kylie Jenner was also thrilled, but she remained seated while applauding Towns' effort. The video of Towns' play instantly went viral, with fans also noticing Chalamet, Stiller and Kylie Jenner's reaction.

"Kylie Jenner literally sitting there also," a fan commented.

The Knicks' win was fueled by a remarkable outing from their two supertars, Karl-Anthony Towns and Jalen Brunson. Towns packed the stats sheet with an all-round performance. He was extremely efficient with his scoring and diligent with his shot selection.

The Knicks center finished the game with 16 points on 5 of 7 shooting, including 1 of 3 from beyond the arc, and 5 of 6 from the free-throw line. He also grabbed 14 rebounds, dished out six assists, recorded two steals and two blocks in 34 minutes.

Meanwhile, there was no stopping Jalen Brunson on Tuesday. The shifty point guard delivered his best performance in these playoffs, putting the team on his back in an important game. He finished with 39 points o 15 of 23 shooting, including 3 of 5 from deep, along with eight assists.
