Grant Cardone's Firm Bets $100M on Bitcoin for Bigger Returns
Grant Cardone’s investment firm has made a bold move by adding $100 million in bitcoin to its holdings. The company now holds around $200 million in the cryptocurrency, alongside its real estate assets. This strategy aims to deliver higher returns than traditional property funds can offer. Cardone Capital has paired multi-family real estate with bitcoin to target annual returns of 22% to 32%. Unlike standard real estate investment trusts (REITs), the firm can hold bitcoin directly on its balance sheet. This flexibility allows it to blend property investments with cryptocurrency exposure.
The decision comes as bitcoin’s price climbed above $81,000 on Tuesday, according to CoinDesk data. Most investors in Cardone’s fund had no prior experience with bitcoin before joining. The firm has also recently acquired a $235 million property, expanding its real estate portfolio. Cardone argues that mixing real estate with bitcoin could outperform traditional REITs. His approach seeks to combine the stability of property with the growth potential of cryptocurrency.
The firm’s bitcoin holdings now total roughly $200 million, alongside its real estate assets. This strategy aims to attract investors looking for higher returns than conventional REITs provide. The move reflects growing interest in blending digital assets with traditional investments.
