French Woman Marries a Tram After Years of Emotional Connection

A woman in France has married a Strasbourg tram, the Daily Star reports.

In 2020, Sandra Ram watched the film Jumbo, in which the protagonist falls in love with a fairground ride. Five years earlier, a medium had predicted she would find love with an inanimate object. Later, she encountered Tram No. 3013—and felt an immediate connection.

Ram claims to have an intimate relationship with the vehicle. In 2024, she married it with the permission of the depot where it is housed.

She was diagnosed with objectum sexuality—a romantic or sexual attraction to objects—in childhood. While many struggle to understand her feelings, Ram insists they are entirely natural.

Earlier, we reported that two widowed pensioners tied the knot in a U.S. nursing home.
