FedEx and ServiceNow join forces to revolutionize AI-driven supply chains

ServiceNow and FedEx have announced a major partnership to integrate logistics intelligence with AI-driven workflows. The collaboration aims to transform supply chain management by combining FedEx’s vast data network with ServiceNow’s automation tools. Both companies also unveiled new products and features at ServiceNow’s Knowledge 2026 event in Las Vegas. The partnership centres on embedding FedEx Dataworks into ServiceNow’s Source-to-Pay platform. This integration will use real-time shipment disruption data to trigger automated workflows when supply chain problems occur. FedEx processes over 2 petabytes of data daily, providing a rich source of logistics insights for the system.

ServiceNow introduced two new offerings at the event. Autonomous Security & Risk will govern and protect AI agents, digital identities, and networked assets across enterprise environments. Otto, another new platform, combines conversational AI, autonomous workflows, and enterprise search into a single solution.

The companies also revealed three new features: Supplier Insights, Supplier Visibility, and Success Indicators. These tools will enhance transparency and performance tracking within supply chains. Meanwhile, FedEx CEO Raj Subramaniam described the partnership as a fusion of FedEx’s network expertise with ServiceNow’s AI capabilities.

Bill McDermott, CEO of ServiceNow, called supply chain transformation 'the only way forward' and praised FedEx for holding 'the world’s richest datasets on the movement of goods, people, and commerce'. The announcement also included deeper collaborations with Nvidia and Microsoft, expanding ServiceNow’s ecosystem.

Following the news, FedEx shares rose by 1.28%, closing at $362.39. The partnership will see FedEx’s logistics data power automated responses to supply chain disruptions. ServiceNow’s new platforms, Autonomous Security & Risk and Otto, will further extend AI-driven automation across enterprises. The collaboration marks a significant step in integrating real-time logistics intelligence with enterprise workflows.
