Deel Local Payroll launches one-click salary payments for UK firms

Deel Local Payroll has introduced embedded payroll payments for UK businesses. The new feature lets payroll managers process salaries directly from the platform in one step. It aims to simplify payments and reduce manual work for companies using the service. The embedded system removes the need to export payment files or switch between different platforms. Instead, salaries are paid via Open Banking transfers without leaving Deel. This approach also cuts out manual data entry, lowering the risk of errors in beneficiary details or version control.

Payroll teams can now handle bulk salary payments, schedule transfers flexibly, and track payment status in real time. Each batch supports up to 500 transactions, while larger customers can still use traditional bank file exports as an alternative. Security is strengthened through Open Banking authentication, ensuring safer transactions. The feature is currently limited to UK customers, with no availability in Ireland at this time. Crezco, a UK-based payments provider regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, powers the service.

Embedded payroll payments offer clearer visibility over outgoing salaries and reduce delays or mistakes. The system also minimises administrative tasks for payroll bureaus and managers. UK businesses using Deel Local Payroll can now access the feature immediately.
