ClearBank and Fiat Republic Team Up to Streamline Euro Payments in Europe
ClearBank has partnered with Fiat Republic to improve euro payment access across Europe. The deal introduces Agency Banking, letting Fiat Republic operate under its own European BICs and issue its own IBANs. Both companies describe the move as a key step in simplifying cross-border transactions. Fiat Republic becomes the first client to use ClearBank’s new SEPA Indirect product. This model allows businesses to offer virtual IBANs issued by ClearBank while maintaining their own banking identifiers. ClearBank also handles scheme access and settlement, reducing the complexity of direct participation in SEPA.
The SEPA Indirect system is designed with strong resilience and compliance standards. Fiat Republic’s customers will now experience faster, more reliable cross-border payments. Adam Bialy, Founder and CEO of Fiat Republic, called the partnership a major milestone in crypto banking, giving the company greater operational independence.
Tristan Kirchner, CEO of ClearBank Europe, added that the collaboration removes growth barriers by ensuring dependable euro payments. ClearBank plans to roll out more products in Europe this year as part of its expansion strategy. The partnership enables Fiat Republic to provide seamless euro transactions under its own banking details. Customers gain access to quicker, more efficient payments through ClearBank’s infrastructure. The deal also marks the first use of ClearBank’s SEPA Indirect product in the market.
