Crane Shut Down After Operator Spots Unusual Cabin Movement

A source from the Parede fire brigade reported that the crane operator at a construction site "noticed unusual movement in the cabin" suspended from the crane's arm and requested assistance due to unsafe conditions.

SIC has learned that the cabin was inspected less than a month ago and will undergo another inspection this Wednesday before resuming operation.

According to the Civil Protection website, 12 emergency responders and seven vehicles were deployed to the scene.

The alert was raised at 5:38 p.m. on Tuesday.
